Some people leave footprints on our heart. Cats leave fur on our sweaters. Dogs leave drool on our shoes. Families will crap on our doorstep. So when life gives you crap, garden it and make roses.

Holiday in Hawaii
This is the Pu'u O'o crater on Kilauea where a fissure eruption started when the floor of the crater collapsed. The fissure is approximately 1,605 feet long. There were 150 small earth quakes recorded within Kilauea in the last 24 hours.
Along with the lava fountains 65 feet in the air, there is the danger of lethal sulphar dioxide gas around the eruption area. The best way to see the eruption is from someone else's photographs.

Congrats on your Stylish Blogger Award dear Coppy, and what does one pack for that fiery type of holiday ?
150 small quakes in 24 hours?
Hmmm, think I'll put off my Hawaiian holiday for a while.....
Why thank you EC, stylish blogger, me, more like the dog's breakfast blogger.
Thanks Stacks, pack a couple of blokes for sacrificing to Pele, the fire Goddess. Besides when you and I go, we're heading for the garden island of Kaui where they filmed Jurassic Park.
River, my cousin thought it would be all tourists and crap but he said they usually stay on the Big Island to shop in Honolulu so it's reasonably uncrowded on the other islands. There is a sailing ship cruise that visits all the outer islands which I would love but my sea sickness wouldn't.
