A Wednesday photograph

Granddaughter 2 photographed the lavender heads with the setting sun behind. She thinks she has her father's eye for photography and she's artistic enough to keep at it.
She has to do a seven minute monologue for her English exams and write a Greek tragedy for drama, neither of which she'll have trouble with. I've heard her speak without drawing breath and she's been a natural actress since the day she first walked.
She wanted to donate blood but they sent her back to her doctor and she has to wear a heart monitor for 24 hours. It's probably only an irregular heartbeat due to her flitting about like a dragonfly over water but it brought a lump to my throat. She's only 7 years younger than her father when he died and that's when I realized how fast time moves, not in minutes or seconds but great lumps of years.

  3. Yes, I'm going for irregular heartbeat with all the stress about exams and excitement and working as well. Not to mention that emailing me is a secret from mother and stepfather.

  4. I'm not surprised the heartbeat is irregular. It's having a hard time keeping up with her. (hope she's OK)
    Love the lavender photo.

  5. Miz Lizzie, modern gal, has been molested on her Harvey Norman couch (nothing to pay for 3 years) with the hard word definitely put on! I'd never do a thing like that, expecially on hire purchase furniture.

Every couch I've managed a root on has been paid for, springs poking through.

  6. Hi, my name is Robert, I've got money.

Last night I played Beethoven's nine symphonies. The neighbours have no symphony at all, nine rocks on my roof.

  7. They told me in night school be careful what you write, because unlike what you say, it's THERE! But I take the risk, going WIDE IN THE WORLD! Because the world is vast, spacious, bigger than a feminist's bloomers!

    ROBBBERRRRRT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. She will be okay but I understand your fears - she is beautiful and your son would know her well...I had a dream a few years back - my dad was killed when I was 15 but in the dream he suddenly was there all in colour - I tried to get him to stay so he could meet his grand daughters - but he said to me"I don't need to meet them, I already know then" and he left... maybe just a dream!
