  1. And before anyone starts, she has two mums, a dad, two grandmothers and a surrogate grannie,(me) to surround her with love and spoiling.

  7. I'm watching that countdown for the twins Mikhela and you're right about the advice. Advice rains from the heavens on new mothers.

The usual suspects Andrew, the 'children should have a mother and a father' crowd. Mine had a father who didn't know what to do with his kid. Nephew had one who walked away from his 3-y-o and now snivels because his son doesn't talk to him. Great heterosexual role models those two were. There's your sister with little Jo, Charlotte and Mikhela's having twins, the fundies worst nightmare 'Teh Gays' are breeding!

Relish that calm, girls. I'll remind you about it in a couple of weeks.

Clucky, Steph, or just going to be a role model for your new niece? You could teach her about Appletinis, fashion and bloghacking.

Annie, did you cry in Charlotte Web, sobbed my heart out.

  13. absolutely could not hurt even a spider.

not even a daddy long legs crawling down my arm.
all spiders run from confrontation and only turn on you when really provoked.

  14. Mc, there's nothing like being a grandmother so I hope it's not long for you.

Annie, they get one warning and one only. If I can't get them outside, it's curtains.
