I always think that!
One reason to max out your plastic credit is that North Korea and pakistan and bloody Momar Gadhaffi are all exploding weird shit all the time and will split Earth into pebbles one day.

You'll be okay, Brownies can hide under pebbles. Gadhaffi's had the gong as far as health is concerned but the other two really bother me. What makes you think I need a reason to max out my card?

Thanks, Brownie. I think I'll go out and buy another 23 books.

JahTeh, get with the program! Max out your card, so you can enjoy all that stuff (if only temporarily) and never have to pay it back because there will be no banks or buildings (or trees) for that matter, just lots of pebbles with brownies underneath them. Sounds like a plan, I like the girl's rationale.

One day Ron, you're gonna have to move and all those books you've been buying and hoarding will have to suffer a great culling!

Link, I am never moving again unless it's in a pine box (could be cardboard, depends on the family finances at the time), or I've won enough in Lotto to pay one of those firms who come in, pack everything, move it, and then unpack at the other end.

the daddy,

You're a man after my own heart (pity you got married recently :-)).

Should my wife divorce me (and she has many, many reasons to do so), she can have the kids, the house, the car etc. but NOT the books (although I don't know where the hell I would keep them as a street-person).

I tried hiding some of the Blight's books when he left but it was hard to hide a ginormous anniversary book on the Titanic. I considered it mine as I paid for it, giving it to him as a gift wasn't really giving it to him, it was mine! mine! mine!

Link, don't speak to that man with the book habit, greedy little murmurer.

Enjoy your reading Daddy, soon it will be Harry Potter to the sproglet.
