THIS IS WHAT LAST NIGHT FELT LIKE

This image of a thick plume of dust blowing over Saudi Arabia, the island of Bahrain and Iran was taken on 14th March this year with the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on NASA's Terra satellite.

Last night was the hottest Melbourne March night on record.

At this rate you'll have to invent yourselves a curry. The Melbourne Masala! (I've just copyrighted that, but I'm willing to go halfs on the name with any potential Balti Houses thinking of going for it.)

Sent it over from Adelaide for you. Tuesday night was our first night in weeks that wasn't searingly hot. Hope you get some respite soon.

You mean there's a chain of curry houses in Blackpool? It sounds revolting. Any cuisine you like to name is to be had in Melbourne including Mongolian.

Bella, could I send my mother to you as a return treat?

Witchy,

If I ever come to your fair city, just point me in the direction of a full English breakfast. (Mind you, that hardly qualifies as cuisine.)

Fleetypie, if you ever get to Melbourne I will cook you a full English breakfast you'll never forget.
