Some people leave footprints on our heart.
Cats leave fur on our sweaters.
Dogs leave drool on our shoes.
Families will crap on our doorstep.
So when life gives you crap, garden it and make roses.
EC, she did look fantastic but with her assets, she did need a bit more stucturing than she had. You can't see it in this photo but she said it was slit to the thigh on the right side and edged with diamante.
River, strapless gowns were unheard of in my day and I wore brown velvet and a soldier on each arm at my formal.
Helen, just as I opened this email I had a phone call from eldest granddaughter, double birthday surprise.
Andrew, that's true multicultural integration. It's what happens when you mix Sri Lankan, Dutch, Irish, Scots, German, French and English.
Kath, I went to your favourite place at Southland for a birthday treat, San Churro's and I thought of you with every mouthful. Every other place has their cakes behind glass that magnifies them but not there. I couldn't believe the size of the slab of cheesecake with berries and chocolate flakes on top of the coffee and Catanies staring at me. How could I not think of you.
Robbert, you forgot the third favourite, you know, grey hair/green eyes/touch over 6ft tall/weighed down by his wallet. I love Geelong, great gallery and shops.

Oh wow! She looks truly lovely and perhaps more importantly, very happy.
Happy, happy birthday to you.
PS: And I love the colour of her dress. Black was the colour of the day at our formal.
She's very lovely! My grand daughter wore black to her formal, her first strapless gown.
Oh ye gahds she's so PURDY. Squee!
She got her old granny's good looks.
Stunning! What a beautiful smile!
Happy birthday Miss Jahteh.
These are a few of her favourite things.

She's absolutely beautiful, JT.
Girls, start saving for the formal gown, you've only got 13 years before it's upon you.
Our melissa got the most beautiful dress from Vinnies and looked so good in it - will have to post a photo of it - cost her $5
