I want it now and I want it all, gimme gimme!

Iced Vo Vo Pavlova.

I am hypnotized by the luscious.

There are ten layers.

I mean TEN layers of sugar induced coma just sitting there.

I will electrocute myself if I keep drooling on the keyboard.
The only other cake as yum as this was the ganache covered trifle cake.

But I'm true to my roots, Pavlova Rules.

"no comments yet" because we are all struck dumb. the evil mind which was inspired to create that sugar-coma on a plate, must be related to the fried mars bar people.
I keep meaning to get hypnotherapy for my sugar addiction. good luck my dear, x x x

Annie, we do not have a sugar addiction, just keep saying that. We need sugar to keep our bodies together but it's the refined sugar that's the Devil's work. And big companies trying to keep profits by using that vile corn syrup instead of unrefined sugar. I could no more eat a fried mars bar than I could drink a kale smoothie.I will help you with your addiction by sending 6 packets of choc coated raspberries and if you don't eat them in 6 weeks then you are cured.

naysayers be damned, my body runs on sugar. Is that pav big enough for two? I'll bring my own fork and napkins :)

FORK? Bring a shovel and a table cloth. Honestly it's getting to the stage where I'll be forced to confront the mouse in the oven and bake my own Pav. For Christmas I used to bake one on a 14 inch glass plate using 12 eggs. Forget the roast, that and mum's plum brandy pudding was Christmas.

Eat Eat
Til you can't see your feet.

Or:

One pavlova
And it's all over.

-Robert.
Jokes aside, I know you really want that thing.

Robbert, my feet are big enough to see from space. I've reduced the image since I had a slice of pavlova after this and I wasn't very well. I did take my BGL before and after and the sugar level zoomed upwards.
So Pav goes on the no list along with wine and potato crisps and chocolate coated ice-creams.

Lee, the recipe is on Taste.com along with other drool worthy cakes. I must admit that I still love anything made with lemon icing, lemon drizzle cake, lemon bars, lemon meringue tarts and one diabolical shop in Southland makes tiny delicate choux pastry with cream and lemon icing. And when I say delicate I mean at least 3 each for a decent munch.
