THE MOON

I'm sitting here at 10.35 watching the moon rise over the rooftop. I can't remember if it's waxing or waning gibbous because I haven't got one of those neat little moon phase thingys and even if I did blogger would somehow shove it to the bottom of the page.

So I've written about the moon rising before but it was earlier in the evening and it looked bigger and it was in the left corner of my window. Now it's later and it's in the right corner of my window. I wonder why it's like that, I say to myself.

Because the Earth's turning you cloth-brained bint.

Nor sure what waxing is, but it is waning. Easter. Start. Full moon. Bright white now, but was orange on the early horizon.

Ahh, but you are the lucky one....having that big observatory window of yours! Start taking some photo's to share with us unfortunate souls who have to walk out into the mozzie ridden air to get a glimpse! lol

PS There are 'Observatorys' in the most unexpected places: Talbot in rural Victoria has a brilliant looking old observatory, and the pub opposite is a riot.
Go there on one of their Market Sundays - the town rocks with gorgeous stuff - and is is way way out there.

I'll probably get this wrong but waxing is getting full so if you want a good haircut, cut it on a waning moon, or vice versa and it doesn't grow back as fast. Do the same with legs or a nice Brazillion wax.

Zoe, you should know by now that I'm lucky to turn on this thing never mind adding code to the blog.

Blue Moon and Bad Moon Rising, favourites and I sing them so well.
Where is Talbot? The pub sounds good so we should send CameraFace on another road trip. Up for it Andrew?

You mean there has been a moon the last few days?

We have had the usual Easter Blue Mountains' weather: cold and wet. Days of it. I actually love it: great reading weather.

Well she extended the hours, and got Bacchus Marsh pissed. But at least it's something to do.

I noticed the weather and thought of you Ron, but today in Melbourne it was 28 degrees. I honestly can't say I'm looking forward to Winter walking though.

Rh, you beast, I was actually singing those words til I got to the fifth line, brilliant.
