THURSDAY PRETTY

This is a Rhodolite Garnet. It's a 16.98 carat, pear cut drop of lusciousness. It measures 17.5x14.7x9.98 mm and it's from Tanzania. We have Rhodolite Garnets mined in Australia and they are just as beautiful as this. I have one. *looks smug and waves hand*

And women always accuse men of being obsessed with numbers.

I'll swap you five kitties for one?

Fleetwood, Jayne, Bella and me won't tell a soul if they're your measurements.

Jayne, women are genetically pre-disposed to adore beautiful things, otherwise why would we put up with Hughes.

Thank you, no! I'm already classed as 'crazy old lady' which doesn't need an upgrade to 'crazy old cat lady'. Did you know that cats can be pregnant again immediately after giving birth?

I. Want. One.

It's not because of my healthy lifestyle and pleasant temperament, that's for sure. It must be the crumpled trenchcoat and the size eleven boots.

"Healthy lifestyle and pleasant temperament", who are you and what have you done with Hughes?

Kath, the secret is to buy the gem first then figure out a way to get it set. Gold plated silver is cheap and no-one can tell the difference.

I have an old school Amiga computer (so from my point of view, I have a nerd 30 year old jewel)...

And my sponsor child is from Tanzania. She draws me trees...

I love stuff...

Miles, my ex left a '93 IBM computer with me when he pissed off. I gave the monitor to a friend, took the keyboard apart with a screwdriver and mangled the hard drive with a geologist's pick but I polished the ostentatious diamond he gave me. There's computer nerdy and jewell nerdy.

A gold medal to you for supporting a child.
