Chocolate is, genius creates.

Thank you to Helen for this link  to Gerhard Petzl, a chocolate artist who does things like this:

Decorated chocolate shoes.  What genius.

And glorious sugar creations like this gingerbread mansion.
I will never look at a dodgy gingerbread house without seeing this
wonderful piece.

Hit his website and see what he does with chocolate painting on lovely bodies.

I love the dragon in the link Helen sent you. Wow.

True artistry - and shoes I lust after too.

EC, I want that gingerbread mansion for Christmas. Isn't this bloke terrific?

Yes. Truly amazing.

The shoes are fabulous! and I'd like a mansion like that, but real and life sized. Or maybe just a small ceramic one that wouldn't get nibbled by me or mice. I'll go and check his site now.

Wow! More words fail me.

As a six year-old I heard another kid say (about a boozer) "He'd drink it out of a dirty old boot."
A common thing to say about drunks at the time, I think. And of course this has nothing whatsoever to do with the post, but when have I ever been on topic?

Part of my charm.

Robbert, not politically correct these days but I do remember "He'd drink it through an Afghan's underpants." You couldn't get away with that now.

River, remember the stairs, lots of stairs. The only house I really would have exchanged mine for was overlooking the bay and had a lift from the garage to the living room and up to bedroom. Now that's luxury.
