Always leave room for Karma

Peter Dutton
Member of the Australian House of Representatives

Office: Minister for Immigration and Border Protection since 2014

No, not defacing my blog by putting his ugly mug here.  But we all remember his snide remarks about the water lapping at small islands, don't we.

Sydney's storms this week.

Feel something Dutton?

That's Karma, ripping your testicles off and stuffing them in your mouth.

Hell, they've lost their backyard.

Pardon me, I find it funny. They wanted a waterfront property and look what happened. A real estate nightmare. How many millions gone? In land value?

It's like (dare I say?) sodom and gomorrah.

Or Ozymandias:

...Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands* stretch far away.

-Percy Bysshe Shelley

*In this case it's the ocean.

Darlings, all our vanities...We are nothing.

And (may I suggest) don't be vulgar. It's not you.

Robbert, it's not vulgar if you use the proper name.
Remember this is the government that didn't believe in climate change or bother to have a science minister and made the CSIRO fire their climate researchers.

Nicely put, my dear.

Andrew, isn't Karma wonderful, right in the middle of an election race. I bet Malware is sorry that July 2nd seemed such a good day to win.

I heard about Sydney's storms, but didn't see any of it on TV, because I've been avoiding the news, in case I hear too much about the upcoming elections.

I'd forgotten about what whatshisname said.
And I've changed my mind about a house on the waterfront. A block or two back will do me.

Nah, Minister Dutton is impervious. Am guessing that that he hasn't been stupid enough to buy multi million $worth of coastal property .. heh.
Am also guessing that he has no "investments" in 'Insurance" corporations that are silly enough to "insure" coastal ---- or indeed "flood prone" properties.

Caveat emptor.

River, you should bring up some of the photos, when Mother Nature gets in a snit she really lashes out.
I always like the thought of Tasmania but since half of it burnt down and the other half is under water, I'm revising my plans.

Davoh, of course the idiot is impervious, he'd have to have a brain to comprehend climate change.

The people are already brawling because the stone wall hadn't been built against the sea. I don't think it would have done much good against raging waves that swept a swimming pool out to sea.

We can't help the affects of nature. Be careful and have a nice time...

Weekend-Windup, welcome to the world of weirdness. Unfortunately we are contributing to the affects of nature in small and large ways and dividing ourselves into believers and non-believers of our own extinction. Or God has stubbed his toe on one of Mother Nature's old growth forests and is really pissed off.

Bravo Coppy darling. of course he's so stupid he will deny the denial. I don't care about people with seafronts but I do despair for the cats and budgies and critters getting a fright.

I've heard they were offered a retaining wall along there but refused it because it would include a public walking path and they didn't want commoners in their vicinity. I think they deserve what they got.

Robbert, they had to pay for the retaining wall themselves and wouldn't. That's how you get rich. By the way you know how tolerant I am of religion, shut up I am, I'm changing my views and anyone who mentions religion near me may be kicked, punched or set on fire by the dragon I keep in my handbag for the purpose.

Annie O,
One bloke got his family out, down in Tassie but left the cat hoping it would be okay. I swear I could have punched the bastard. Ranted at taxi driver this morning because we were right behind expensive ute with lovely black lab in the back and he finally got what I meant when we had to break suddenly and poor dog got tossed all over. Muslim and not fond of dogs, I had him mouthing off by the time we made it to Mentone. We get change one dog at a time. Another bastard I'd like to have punched this morning.
