FOR THE BLOG CONNIESEWERS OF BLING

And I fell in love with this pendant by Carrera Y Carrera. I mean who wouldn't? It's made from a combination of quartz and diamonds set in 18k white gold. The larger butterfly connects the pendant to the chain, followed by a round diamond in a pave setting which is followed by another smaller diamond encrusted butterfly, then another round diamond and finally the briolette shaped quartz attached to an engraved white gold dome.

Apart from the fact that I love butterflies and briolette shapes, this is just more bit of bling to add to the ever-growing wish list.Perhaps I could move the Prasiolite drop from the last post and pop it on this necklace just to make it more luscious and I'd make this briolette into an enhancer for my pearls. Just thinking.

Have you ever considered applying for position of presenter/sales person for QVC or whatever the Ozzie equivalent is?

Seriously you should join the gem club, J, you'd love the stunning gems they find in ordinary lumps of rock :)
*Feral Beast is doing Russian language school, which is how he's able to read Russian lol ;)

Jeebus Fleetwood, what makes you think I'd actually sell anything as against buying it all for Moi?

Jayne, was a member, long ago, but now dodgy knees aren't fun for field trips and hands aren't good enough to polish or facet the stones.

I have my own personal gem store with my own personal red carpet which they roll out whenever I'm spotted anywhere near their front door.

Oh my goodness, how coy, your knees weren't too dodgy to run off with that million-dollar sparkler the other day.
Now I hear you're trying to fence it, probably for a truckload of Timtams.

Robbert, I hate TimTams, pretensious bits of nothing but I like a mint slice with strong black coffee.
That thief was an idiot or stealing to order. There'll be a tiny registration mark on the girdle of that rock so it'll have to be re-cut to a smaller size. He should have gone for an emerald or ruby in 9 carats.

Maybe the owner was an idiot to put it there unguarded? I expect it to be cut of course. And even if he only makes $50,000 it was worth the dash? And for gangland to get a laugh? Lovely.
