I just had to share.

Remember that nice little Burmese glass fairy light that no-one else liked except me?
This is just as sweet and would look lovely in an entrance hall. The soft light reflected back is very kind to old skin, wrinkles and sagging everything else.
The only drawback are the colours which are the Burmese glass colours but too, too pink.
See how easy it is to stuff up something so gorgeous.

By the way, a sea-going world cruise is off the Bucket List.

It's very pretty and if you turned off the hall light and just had that little lamp on, maybe the pink wouldn't be quite so fairy-flossy?

Why is the sea cruise off the bucket list?
Did you do the cruise already and not take me along?
Hmmm?

Love the design but, yes, a touch too pink.

In the Year of the Titanic Centenary the Italians said "Beat That!"

it's not too-pink. it is the yummy colour of pink icing. god I love stuff with pink shiny crackly icing on.

the cruise crash is just appalling.
which reminds me
Queen Eliz is coming through the treacherous Port Phillip Bay Heads on 26th Feb.
watch it via the pt lonsdale webcam at MelbPort Authotity website.

I'm not a flowery pink gal, but I love your adorable light!

Cruise off the bucket list - where, when..... the recent events off the Italian coast haven't put you off??

Cruise off the bucket list? Come on, I can see you doing a perfect Shelley Winters a la The Posiedon Adventure. There's always got to be a morning after...... Wasn't that the most god-awful song of all time? - Dotson

It is too pink, but is very beautiful just the same.
I can't see you on the cruise ship caper wearing a lanyard with your name on it at all times anyway. But yes a real horror story which is still unfolding.

I've never liked the idea of a cruise. Besides getting sea sick, I always think "what if you suddenly realise you can't stand any of the other passengers, but you're stuck in the middle of the ocean and can't get away from them". Even with the recent happenings, I still find that the more terrifying prospect.

'The soft light reflected back is very kind to old skin, wrinkles and sagging everything else.' I'll take one.

River, it still seems too pink for me but if I could change it with the other one that would be better.

I met my ex on a cruise which is a giant blog post all on its own.

Jayne, big bucks for the Titanic re-creation cruise, even down to the menu.

Annie O, finger buns from Bakers Delight, great whacks of lovely pink icing but not the ones with hundreds and thousands, they crunch.

One think I noticed about the cruise passengers, a lot of Chinese or Japanese and the crew, Italian so communications screwed?

Kath, I hope you took notes from Annie O's comment, it will give you a look at the old country especially if the sun is out and the sea is calm and you're snowed in.
My cruise started well, we were on station at the entrance of the bay waiting for the pilot and I nearly died from seasickness before we reached open sea.

Dotson, that film terrified me but Shelley was a ripper act. I only saw a trailer for the film but I'll never forget the passenger falling through the big glass ceiling as the ship turned turtle. I read the book but haven't watched the film to this day.
The song was terrible and people complain about the Titanic theme.

EC, just a bit lighter on the pink but I love the whole concept of the mirror and soft light.
Re my cruise, I could be out of my bunk and on deck in one minute and that without using the lift. Our cabin was so cheap it didn't have a porthole, we were below the waterline but I knew which way was up.

Nothing, it was my sister, the underage drinker who found the undesirables on board. I was too busy not throwing up to bother although I was okay on deck but they wouldn't let you sleep there.

Dear Andrew, You're still young in heart and other places. On the other hand Lord Sedgwick could use a few.

I like the song: Morning After.

And you can talk!- you're a magnet for undesirables anyway.

Kitsch. Crass. Awful. Horrendous.
Would go well in Boganville.

But you're still my favourite witch.

Hey mummy.

I've been busy.

You can talk about crass, I bet you put candles in your empty Cab Sav bottles.
You're still my favourite bear.

Robbert, you being busy strikes terror into my heart. Poetry, a symphony, snow dropping?

Snow dropping. Got you a nice dress.

Terrific, now take the tent back, the circus needs it.
