A new look.

I thought it might be time for a new spring look. I'm worried even the bird looks worried. I'm not sure that I have the letters large enough to read but I'm sure I'll deal with that. It was a calming background not so in your face purple and I hope you lot appreciate that it's taken me nearly three hours to fix these colours in between panic attacks about losing the entire blog. I did download the old template but I'll give this one a chance.

I've upped the size of the letters but is the white okay or would it be better in a darker colour? All suggestions welcome and probably ignored.

I LOVE, and lust after the bird, and the slighly melancholy mauve. And the writing is grey rather than white, but perfectly legible.
Besides, as someone (you) told me as a brand new blogger - it is your blog, to do with as you see fit.

EC, I changed from white to this colour and it was easier to read.
Google Shane Ferro + birds. This one is called his 'Rings of Saturn' bird and is hand made of glass. If I remember there are four different steps just to do the feet. You will love all of his birds.

Much improved. You must have picked up some sense of blog style from mine.

I had no trouble reading the words and the pale purple is nice.
The bird reminds me of those jars with layers of different coloured sand making patterns in them.

Andrew, of course you have style, you learned it all from the lovely R. :P

River, I was aiming for a lilac and this was the closest. I put up a post sometime past on his little birds, it must be in 'glass'.

Thank you, Miss O'Dyne, we all need easier to read these days. I think I now qualify for 'new blogger'.

Hi. It's good. Matches my complexion. Is the spelling right? I'm in my Hamlet mood. Newport station yesterday, crowded with commuters, and I did the Yorick speech, without the skull. (No applause but they seemed to enjoy it)

Hey, I've rediscovered Dada, can't you tell?

Thanks Fen, now I just have to think of a post to put here.

Rh, yesterday was freezing but an actor can perform anywhere there's a captive audience.
